After ten months, Dear Mr. Potter submissions are closing. You have until December 31 at midnight EST to submit your essay, letter, or photo, telling your own Harry Potter story: how the series impacted, inspired, changed, or awakened you. Submissions can be sent to submit@dearmrpotter.org.
Remember, your submissions are eligible to be published in Dear Mr. Potter: the book! The book will be published and sold non-profit within the Harry Potter fan community, with profits helping improve youth literacy around the world. To be a part of this project, and to see your writing or photo published, be sure to submit. The book is well underway and can be expected by Summer 2011.
I must beg, though: what Dear Mr. Potter desperately needs are your pictures. Please, grab your camera and snap your memorabilia collection, your bookshelf, your posters, yourself reading or in costume, or anything that shows your love of Potter. Just as valuable are handwritten letters, or your post secret style submissions. Please, the project is starved for its visual components!
Thank you, and reblog to get out the word!

Girl: I was wondering if there has ever been a really embarrassing moment on any set that you wish you had the invisibility cloak and hide?
Rupert: Um, yeah, quite frequently actually. Yeah. Um, I don’t know I’m trying to think of a major.. I think just my kind of, um, laugh.. laughing. Like giggling for like no reason, it I just find that kind of embarrassing.. it happens so often as well. And people do get quite annoyed.
Interviewer: In the most inappropriate moments?
Rupert: Yeah, like.. when Dumbledore died.Oh dear Lord.
